The idea of United Disabilities was created after Terry Loerch suffered a stroke in 2003 which led to a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed.
It took Terry over 16 years and more than 25 surgeries to heal and learn to walk again.
Because of his experiences, Terry became intimately aware of the challenges faced by those who live and work with a disability.
While researching for help, mentors and educational programs online, Terry was amazed of the lack of information and resources available for the disabled community.
People want a safe platform where the disabled can discuss and understand more about their disability, purchase products for their needs and find available resources.
