Cybathlon International Championship 2020

Many take for granted the the simplicity of completing every day task. As technology and AI advances, more and more tools and resources are available to those who need assistance in these areas. The Cybathlon tournament showcases life-changing tech for people with disabilities and helps them conquer these tasks. Cybathlon is a International championship that unites individuals with physical disabilities and encourages them to compete in performing every day tasks using new age tech.

Cybathlon consists of 51 teams from 20 countries coming together to compete against each other, completing everyday tasks with the help of state-​of-the-art assistance systems. Due to the Covid-​19 pandemic, the teams competed for the first time in different time zones and locations. Many items including the Eye-controlled wheelchair and Bionic arm were all on display and competing for first prize.
